Weather
85F – 95F sunny, with a light breeze from the East. Same as yesterday, same as tomorrow.
While the above statement is true 90% of the time:
- June and October are typically known as rainy season
- June through November is hurricane season
- October through May offer calmer sea conditions
Weather is unpredictable
The official hurricane season is June through November. The last major hurricane to hit Jamaica was Gilbert in 1988. Also worth noting is that most of these tropical storms land on the north coast rather than the drier south coast where we are located.
