Churches and Community

Background Information on area churches and where we attend:

Churches in our area are full of tradition and religion. Kingdom Builders Ministry has had a relationship with LEA, Lighthouse Evangelistic Association, since conception. These churches are open to instruction and the influence of the Holy Spirit.

Background information on Whitehouse and the surrounding communities:

Whitehouse is a small, rural fishing village on the south coast of Jamaica. In the past few years we have seen some growth as larger hotels make plans to move into the area. Like all small towns anywhere else in the world that means we have a lower crime rate than the bigger cities. It is OK to walk the streets during the day and passing residents will usually offer a friendly greeting. Because safety is an important concern of ours, we are active participants in an island-wide Neighborhood Watch program. However, this does not mean to be careless. Use the same precautions you would anywhere you are traveling. Lock your doors when you leave, don’t flash a large wad of bills while paying for a small tab, do not invite strangers into our place, etc.
