your life is the one that changes

The end of the year usually means you reflect on the past year. Well I can’t stop reflecting on the past 5 years of my life. I got to thinking of my first mission trip (Jamaica 2011 with Kingdom Builders Ministry) I met up with a church from Michigan (random yes). I knew one person on the trip and went for a month. I flew to a different country alone and had no idea how this trip would actually mark the rest of my life. Serving overseas you think of how you can help change someones life when really your life is the one that changes. You are taken out of “everyday” life and put into hard places and love has no boundaries. I have been to 6 different nations because of Jesus- how cool is that? It is quite remarkable and I always want to do it all over again. Oh how the Lord knows what you need. I have much to be thankful for.
